Colin began his career in 1990 as a CIPFA trainee accountant at Tameside MBC, and upon qualifying in 1993, gained his first professional roles as the Investment Accountant at GMPF. In 2000 he joined WYPF as an Assistant Investment Manager running part of the UK equity portfolio, and progressed in 2007 to managing the fund’s North American portfolio. In 2014 Colin was promoted to CIO – Overseas Investments, and headed up the overseas equity markets, Alternatives, Fixed Income and treasury functions. In recent years the team was restructured and he is now focussed on overseas equities and carries the title of Assistant Director- Overseas Investments.
