Simon joined LGPS Central in 2024 as a Portfolio Manager within the Fixed Income team. He brings over 25 years of experience in fixed income investment, having held roles at leading institutional fund managers including Deutsche Asset Management, Aberdeen Asset Management, and Alliance Bernstein. Prior to joining LGPS Central, Simon worked at Tesco Pension Investment, where he contributed to the management of their in-house pension scheme. He has extensive experience in the day-to-day management and implementation of fixed income strategies, including Government, Aggregate, Short Duration, and Absolute Return portfolios. His expertise spans portfolio construction, duration management, relative value positioning, and foreign exchange strategy.
