The Diversity Project , Ambassador
Annie Healy has worked in the asset management and pensions industry for over 30 years.
She started her City career in 1987 at Lloyds Investment Managers Ltd, where she had lead responsibility for developing the profile of the firm with UK local authorities. In 1996, she joined Schroders where she held the role of Director UK Institutional Marketing, working in the business development and client relationship management functions, dealing with UK pension funds in both the corporate and public sectors. In 2005, she was recruited by MFS International (U.K.) Ltd, a subsidiary of MFS Investment Management, in the position of Senior Managing Director UK & Ireland, where she was responsible for developing their institutional business within the UK and Irish pensions markets and sat on the Board of the non-US business. Latterly, she worked at the independent trustee firm, BESTrustees, for three years.
Currently, she is volunteering as an “ambassador” to The Diversity Project which seeks to accelerate progress towards an inclusive culture in the investment and savings community. The aim is to achieve diversity across all dimensions, including gender, ethnicity, socio-economic background, LGBT+, age and disability. The Project spans the whole of the profession: asset owners, fund managers, fund selectors, pension consultants, actuaries, trustees, wealth managers and the professional standards and trade bodies.
