Sam is a Managing Economist at the Centre for Economics and Business Research (Cebr), a prominent economics consultancy in London. Via his role as the company’s Forecasting Lead, Sam manages Cebr’s macroeconomic commentary, covering significant data releases and producing forecasts for major economies. He also leads bespoke research across a range of sectors and geographies.
Recent projects have included an assessment of the economic consequences of long-term health conditions for Zurich and quantifying the output of van-reliant industries across Europe for Ford.
Sam often shares Cebr’s macroeconomic view in the media, with appearances on BBC Breakfast, Radio 4, and Sky News and print citations in The Guardian, TIME, and Bloomberg. He also regularly delivers economic update presentations to clients, including recent engagements with Asda, BDO, and The Rail Delivery Group.
He holds a BA from the University of Oxford and an MSc from the University of London.
