Ruby is a pension fund manager in the Tri-borough Pensions team, leading on the Bexley Pension Fund. Before joining public finance, Ruby completed a degree in Human Biosciences, qualified as a Science Secondary Teacher in Birmingham and had her first opportunity to work in investment as an intern at a hedge fund in Mayfair.

She started her local government career on the finance graduate scheme at Westminster City Council, where her first role was working in the Tri-borough treasury and pensions team and completed her CIPFA qualification in 2022.
